Blacksmith Club Discount

Attention group, club, or organization members! Blacksmith Source Tool Company has a special offer just for you. Enjoy a discount of 1% per item, cumulatively up to 20% off the item in your order. To qualify, you must have a minimum purchase of multiples of 5 for each item. The discount applies only to portions of the invoice with at least 5 of the same item per order. Even if you have more than 20 of the same item, the maximum discount remains at 20%.

Example 1:

• 10 Railroad spike tongs at $42.99 each, totaling $429.90.
• 10 x 1% = 10% discount, resulting in a discount of -$42.99.
• Final total: $429.90 - $42.99 = $389.91.

Example 2:

• 10 Railroad spike tongs at $42.99 each, totaling $429.90.
• 5 Lg. Wolf jaw tongs at $49.99 each, totaling $249.95.
• 2 Scrolling tongs at $39.99 each, totaling $78.98.
• Subtotal: $429.90 + $249.95 + $78.98 = $758.80.
• 10 x 1% = 10% discount on Railroad spike tongs, resulting in a discount of -$42.99.
• 5 x 1% = 5% discount on Lg. Wolf jaw tongs, resulting in a discount of -$12.50.
• Discount subtotal: $42.99 + $12.50 = $55.49.
• Final total: $758.80 - $55.49 = $703.31.

Example 3:

• 25 Railroad spike tongs at $42.99 each, totaling $1074.95.
• 5 Lg. Wolf jaw tongs at $49.99 each, totaling $249.95.
• 2 Scrolling tongs at $39.99 each, totaling $78.98.
• Subtotal: $1074.95 + $249.95 + $78.98 = $1403.68.
• 20 x 1% = 20% discount on Railroad spike tongs (capped), resulting in a discount of -$214.95.
• 5 x 1% = 5% discount on Lg. Wolf jaw tongs, resulting in a discount of -$12.50.
• Discount subtotal: $214.95 + $12.50 = $227.45.
• Final total: $1403.68 - $227.45 = $1176.23.
